Walking Challenge – Pt.3

Rock Climbing - Harrison's RocksSaturday morning was tough my legs felt heavy and calves were solid.  But I still had a long way to go.  So I started with a gentle warm up and went out for alight jog, but struggled to find the motivation for it so we decided to go rock climbing.  The steps were to suffer today but the rest would help in the long run.

After climbing, enthusiasm renewed, we pushed out another gentle 8 mile walk into Brighton around town back over the hills and home.

Two Days left. The goal was still some distance off, but gaining steps had now become an obsession and sitting still just seemed like a wasted opportunity. So Sunday was spent on the go, stopping only for a quick flapjack, refuel, and brief rest before heading off again.  It felt like we covered ever millimeter of Brighton and Hove: Town, Marina, The white cliffs, Rottingdean, seafront, piers, Seven Dials, Dyke Road, Shoreham and more.  We easily racked up the numbers to get us close for the final push, but there was a long way to go.
